Coweta residents file petition seeking vote on data center ban

Citizens for Rural Coweta filed a petition with more than 14,000 signatures seeking to reverse a rezoning decision and ban data centers and cryptocurrency mining in the county. The probate court will review the petition to determine whether it qualifies for a special election.
